CMI Fundraiser: Online Auction

When is the auction and how does it work? The CMI Online Auction items will be available for bids starting Friday, 11 September and ending on Sunday, 27 September. Items will be available for bidding anywhere from 1 day to 14 days. Certain items will have a fixed price and can be purchased immediately.

What is being auctioned? The auction will feature coaching packages donated by Christian Coaches, Get-away Lodging, Photographic Art, Jewelry, Ethnic Photo Greeting Card sets, International Gift Items, .... and more.

Who is hosting it? The Auction is hosted by OnlineAuction.com (OLA) and you can look at all the items freely. Unlike eBay, OLA only charges CMI one low monthly fee, which means more of your winning bid actually goes to CMI. To bid or buy, you must register, but you do not pay anything to OnlineAuction.com.

How do I place a bid? If you decide to place a bid or make a fixed price purchase, ....

  1. I have not registered with OnlineAuction.com and don't have a Username and Password!
    1. You must first be registered with OnlineAuction.com. This is Free and Easy! It simply gathers the info needed participate and allows you to create your own Username and Password.
    2. You do not need to enter any payment information when you register.
    3. Click here and follow instructions.
    4. Then return to this page and click on >>> Go to CMI Online Auction <<< above.
  2. I have already registered and have a Username and Password!
    1. Then, simply use them to "sign in" when you first arrive at the OnlineAuction.com site.
    2. Select and go to the full page description of the Item of your choice ....
    3. Enter the amount of your bid in the "Your Max Bid" field, then ....
    4. Click on the "Review Bid"  or "Buy Now" button, and follow the any instructions. You can return and raise your bid at any time before the Item's auction closes. [Note: If your selection is a "Fixed Price" item, the amount will be provided automatically. You do not need to enter an amount.]  

What happens if I win an auction? After winning an auction or making a fixed priced purchase, both you and CMI will be notified by email from OnlineAuction.com, and then CMI will send you an email invoice for payment, which will be made directly to CMI via method of your choice - PayPal, or Personal or Business check. Upon confirmation of payment, the item or the service setup information will be sent to you.

How does CMI benefit? All proceeds from this auction go to support programs of Coaching Mission International (CMI) that provide professional-level, culturally appropriate coaching to frontline missionaries around the world.
